Activities in the surrounding Area

If you feel like a day out to explore the surrounding areas, then there is plenty more to do. Visit the Hluhluwe area (around the corner from us) and Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve or Mkuze Game Reserve and take a game drive in search of the elusive and famous Big Five. If its Zulu culture and education you’re after, then visit the Zulu Cultural Village.

Lake St Lucia

At about 350 square kilometres in area, Lake St Lucia is the largest estuarine system in Southern Africa, and is situated within the World Heritage Site of iSimangaliso Wetland Park. This lake is an idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, and promises tranquillity that is coupled with plenty to do and see.

The Zulu culture in the province of KwaZulu-Natal is one that has shaped the local history and heritage to a large extent. Visitors will, no doubt, want to experience it in a hands-on way, becoming part of the experience. Cape Vidal Beach Safaris

The waters of Cape Vidal are warm, thanks to their being part of the Indian Ocean, and are teeming with marine animal- and plant life. The snorkelling safaris are paired with a game drive to ensure that visitors get to see the maximum number of species and the most variety during their excursion.
